Single Storey Front and 4m Rear Extension in Southgate

Client Requirements

Our client required both rear and front extension. At the front of the semi detached property we extended to include a front porch and downstairs toilet to the side of the entrance.

At the rear of the property we removed the original outside wall across the width of the property and added a 4m rear extension. The single storey rear extension meant the living room could now lead on to the garden with a utility room to the side which connects onto the kitchen through a walk way. The dining room is now at the front of the property and enables the clients to enjoy the open plan feeling when entertaining. The side of the property which isn’t joined onto the neighbour will be rendered with zinc cladding. A beautiful 4500X500cm window stretches across the back of the extensions flat green roof to let lots of light in. There is a roof light in the flat roof of the front extension also.
