Detailed Planning obtained planning permission for a modest rear infill extension and associated internal alterations at Cranley Gardens in the London Borough of Enfield. The scheme infills the narrow side return between the existing kitchen and boundary to form a generous open‑plan kitchen and dining space. A pitched roof with glazed panels and rooflights floods the new room with natural light, while Crittall‑style doors and windows open onto the garden to improve the connection between inside and outside. Internally the layout is rationalised and circulation improved, and externally the new brickwork, roof tiles and detailing carefully match the original house. Our comprehensive plans, elevations and sections showed that the extension sits unobtrusively within the plot, respects neighbours’ amenity and complies with local planning policies, allowing the homeowners to create a brighter, more functional living area.
