This project was a complete reimagining of an existing detached bungalow and garage on a large, well-positioned plot. We managed the entire process from initial design and planning to final technical specifications, delivering a home perfectly suited for contemporary family life.

This new build represents a significant upgrade from the original property, which was a bungalow with a converted loft and a single-storey rear extension. The new design features a two-storey detached dwelling with a low eaves level to the front and a two-storey gable frontage. It’s a design that offers both curb appeal and a spacious interior.

A Home Designed for How You Live

Our design philosophy focuses on creating functional, beautiful spaces. On the ground floor, the layout includes a large entrance hall, a living room, an office, and utility spaces. The rear of the house is the heart of the home, with a spacious, open-plan family kitchen, dining, and living area that opens directly onto a rear patio and garden. This seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living is a cornerstone of modern design.

Upstairs, the layout is equally impressive. A two-storey gallery space above the entrance hall creates a sense of grandeur and openness. The first floor accommodates two front-facing bedrooms with dormers, a family bathroom, and a large master suite complete with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite. A standout feature is the master bedroom’s private rear terrace, strategically placed between two gables to ensure privacy from neighbors while offering direct views of the garden.
The dwelling’s exterior finishes—brick and a tiled pitched roof, complemented by aluminum-framed windows and doors—give it a modern, clean appearance. We also incorporated a large roof lantern over the rear extension to maximize natural light.

We handle every step, from drafting the initial design to compiling the necessary documents, including the Planning, Design and Access Statement.
